From time to time in my Intro to TESOL Course at Middlebury College, I invite students to go out over the weekend and collect contemporary slang terms that might be challenging for second language learners and newly arrived international students. When I’m lucky, a few students will take on the compilation of a short slang dictionary as a final project. That was the case this year, and I am happy to share with you the 2024 Middlebury College Slang Dictionary as edited by Kelcey Dion and Claudia Lopez.
