NNETESOL brings together English language professionals from Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine for a day of networking, sharing, and professional development. Teaching in Challenging Times

Teaching is hard enough on its own without the added stresses of dealing with public health concerns, keeping students safe, and dealing with the technology and extra work required to handle hybrid and remote classes. In this interactive talk, we will examine some concepts to help us deal with added stresses; look at some ways of encouraging and developing ourselves and our students; and review some classroom activities to promote student learning, interaction, motivation, and well-being.
